    Conversations with God – Tent of Meeting – Exodus 33:7-11
    Series: (All)
    What would it be like if you could walk into a tent or small space and meet with God Almighty face to face? Maybe the thought of that thrills you or maybe it scares you half to death. In the Old Testament, we read of a named Moses who made it a part of his regular practice to do exactly that. He would set up a tent outside of the camp of the Israelites and he would meet with God.
    Friend, have you begun to view meeting with God as something common and something to be approached casually? We would like to invite you to turn in your Bible to the book of Exodus and download the following teaching notes as you listen to the following message by Pastor Anton. We hope and trust that you will be encouraged in your walk this week.

    Which Chair are you sitting in? Selected scriptures
    Series: (All)
     When it comes to your relationship with God what words would you use to describe your closeness or lack of closeness to Him?
    The reality is that everyone of us has been created to be image bearers of Christ Jesus. And as image bearers we are called to grow closer to the Lord daily. When the Pharisees and other wise teachers of the religious law were trying to trap Jesus in Matthew 22, the question is asked of Jesus, “Which is the greatest of the commandments in the law of Moses.”
    Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
    When it comes to your relationship with God, are you doing that? Are you loving God with complete abandon, and loving others with the love you receive from your heavenly Father? We would like to invite you to download the teaching notes as you prepare to listen to the following message by Pastor Anton. Our prayer is that you will be encouraged and challenged to take your next spiritual step in your walk with the Lord.

    Conversations with God – Colossians 4:2-6
    Series: (All)
    When we think of prayer, we often view it as something to use in time of emergency. Such as a fire extinguisher behind glass with the words "break in case of emergency" written on it. The truth from the Word of God is that the Lord desires for us to be in constant and consistent communication with Him. In fact, within the life of a born-again believer, it is expected. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the church in Colossae, gives us New Testament believers some excellent wisdom on how we ought to pray. We would like to invite you to download the teaching notes, and open your Bible to Colossians 4:2-6 as Pastor Anton teaches on this essential subject. Prayer has a place in our everyday life. Learn more about unlocking the power behind the greatest gift God has blessed us with outside of salvation.

    Series: (All)
    When it comes showing appreciation for special people in our lives, nothing seems more difficult than fully expressing our thankfulness to our mother. This Mother's Day 2017 Pastor Anton taught a message on how important it is for us to dispel lies that we believe and replace them with truth from the Word of God. This seems to be especially true of mothers. There are many pressures from those on the outside that cause us to become critical of other people and their successes, or we can feel defeated and discouraged.
    Mothers, mothers to be one day, and spiritual mothers, we appreciate and honor you! We would like to encourage you to watch this hilarious video created by 12 Stone Church in Atlanta, GA, download the teaching notes and enjoy this word of encouragement from Pastor Anton.     What do you perceive to be your greatest area of weakness? Would it be a financial issue, a health concern, a relationship problem, an issue at work or finding a job? Whatever your weakness, hold that thought in the back of your mind while you open up the Word of God to 1 Samuel 17, and listen to the following message by Pastor Anton. We invite you to also download the teaching notes along with this week's study, as they may be helpful to you. Consider the words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the church in Corinth in response to him asking the Lord three times to remove a major weakness in his own life;
    2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
    We hope and trust that you will be encouraged by this message and challenged to take your next spiritual step this week.

Although it may not seem like it, we make any number of trades every single day. Some benefit us, some benefit others, and some don't seem to benefit anyone at all.
    We would like to encourage you to take a couple of minutes to watch the YouTube video linked to this teaching. It was created by RightNow Media. It will set the tone and help orient your thinking as you download the teaching notes, and open your own Bible to Ephesians 3. Pastor Anton teaches on the five things that the Apostle Paul traded for and explains why the trade he received in return was MORE than WORTH IT! The Word of God challenges us to Trade in our "American Dream" for something of infinitely greater value.
