The Secret Treasure of Contentment – Philippians 4:10-20
Series: Thanksgiving
There is a secret treasure that is worth far more to a person than simply having material wealth and possessions. The wise King Solomon wrote in the book of Ecclesiastes, "those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!" (Ecclesiastes 5:10 NLT) Yet so many of us get distracted by stuff and become disillusioned by thinking that the next thing will be "the THING" that we have always longed for and will make us truly content... In Paul's letter to the church in Philippi, Philippians 4:10-20, he teaches the powerful truth of real contentment. We would like to invite you to turn to Philippians 4 and download the teaching notes as you prepare to listen to the following message by Pastor Anton Folz. We hope and trust that you will be encouraged.

    Series: Thanksgiving
Living Lives of Thanksgiving - Nov 15 2015 - FOCUS Church Thanksgiving is just a week away, and with it often comes the question; "How was your Thanksgiving?" In this teaching, Pastor Anton expounds upon the truths that Paul was sharing with the early Church in Ephesus. They were called to live as "Children of the Light" and as such, their actions and attitude should be different than of those around them who were not followers of Jesus Christ. One of the chief marks of a transformed life according to Paul is that of Thankfulness. Download the study notes, and follow along with this teaching. We trust that you will be encouraged in your walk with the Lord. May we begin to ask it of ourselves, "How IS my Thanksgiving?" all year long.
